AC FREQUENCY DRIVES These modular designed machines include the latest in AC frequency drives. Highly accurate motion-control systems use the latest adjustable-frequency drive platforms. Significant relay elimination is accomplished through the use of a single PLC. All AC motors are continuous duty, thermally protected, brush-less design, further eliminating routine maintenance. All controls are housed in roomy, dust-tight NEMA 12 enclosures, ensuring long component life and ease of maintenance. PRODUCTION CONTROL CENTER The industrial duty LCD touch screen main control center displays precise production data such as sheets per hour, batch count, and a variety of useful diagnostics. The easy to learn control center is positioned adjacent to the feed section monitor to provide for one-man operation. A number of design elements provide improved operator safety...such as a remote TV camera (see right) at the delivery stacker, a series of remote "E" stops, and a main control center that includes electrical fault detection. POWER TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS Severe duty oil bath main power transmission is designed for high torque and low noise. Heavy-duty belt drives are designed for long life and quiet operation. All selected to minimize maintenance over the life of the cutter.
